There are many ways one can use MMS or [CD] Chlorine Dioxide, Jim humble has been experimenting with different protocols and uses for many years. Observing and noting the reactions, progress and outcome of the different ways and uses of [CD] Chlorine Dioxide.
Humble also collates stories of those using it all over the world and shares it on his site. There are many people and health care professionals experimenting with it, some devising new protocols, some suggest the use of other things like herbs or supplements along the use of [CD] Chlorine Dioxide.
Uses of Chlorine Dioxide range from water purification, to internal use as a body detox, transdermal skin applications like bathing with it, using it as a skin spray or as a disinfecting spray. But the most used protocol is the Jim Humble’s basic protocol, which he recommend for almost every situation or condition.
To follow any protocol using Chlorine Dioxide you will need to have 3 basic things:
- Sodium Chlorite drops (MMS 28% or 25% Sodium Chlorite solution)
- An activator (Food Acid)
- Something to dilute the mixture further. (Water Apple juice)
Sodium Chlorite Solution (MMS)
28% or 25% Sodium Chlorite Solution in distilled water (MMS)
Best to store it in a cool, dark, dry place. (If exposed to direct sunlight it may lose its potency over time.)
Activator (Food Acid)
Any one of the following can be used to activate the Sodium Chlorite drops into Chlorine Dioxide:
- 4% or 5% HCA Hydrochloric Acid (1:1)
(best option, Hydrochloric Acid is stomach acid)
- 50% citric acid solution (1:1)
- 10% citric acid solution (1:5)
- Lemon juice(1:5)
- Lime juice.(1:5)
Using lemon or lime juice
If you decide to use lemon or lime juice it should be freshly squeezed by you. DO NOT use off the shelf juice available in food stores.
(1:5) 1 drop of Sodium Chlorite + 5 drop of lemon/lime juice
Using citric acid solution 10% or 50%
If you decide to use citric acid solution to activate the Sodium Chlorite into Chlorine Dioxide, you will need to mix the solution yourself. To make your citric acid solution (10% or 50%) you will need 4 things:
- Citric acid crystals
- Water (preferably distilled, or purified, or the very least filtered).
- Empty dropper bottle (to store the solution)
- Clean dry glass (to mix the solution)
To make 10% citric acid solution:
- 1 part citric acid crystals
- 9 parts of water
- Use a clean dry glass and stir to dissolve all the citric acid crystals into the water.
- Pour the 10% citric acid solution into the dropper bottle label it and keep refrigerated.
(1:5) 1 drop of Sodium Chlorite + 5 drop of 10% citric acid
To make 50% citric acid solution:
- 1 part citric acid crystals
- 1 parts of water
- Use a clean dry glass and stir to dissolve all the citric acid crystals into the water.
- Pour the 50% citric acid solution into the dropper bottle label it and keep refrigerated.
(1:1) 1 drop of Sodium Chlorite + 1 drop of 50% citric acid
Tip – Mix a small amount of citric acid solution to last a week or so, and mix it again as needed.
* Vinegar – In the early days Jim was using vinegar as activator. You may find it mentioned in his book and in many available articles about MMS. However the use of vinegar as an activator is discouraged these days, especially if Candida is involved.
Mix the Chlorine Dioxide (Activated MMS) with Water, or fruit juices
Once MMS is activated, the mixture need to be diluted further before it is used. One can use water, or fruit juices; like apple juice. Juice is used to help mask the taste and smell of the Chlorine Dioxide.
Tip – Using cold refrigerated water reduces the release the smell associated with activated MMS .
Do not use juices rich in Vitamin C – Avoid juices that contain vitamin C, like orange juice, or juices that have added vitamin C in them. There is no adverse effect in combining vitamin C and Chlorine Dioxide, the reason for avoiding vitamin C, is because vitamin C has a counter effect on Chlorine Dioxide. In other words vitamin C neutralises Chlorine Dioxide. See Videos above.
